We Sell Retro

Sell Your Retro Collection

A whole collection doesn’t have to become hundreds of individual listings.

Whether you’re downsizing, clearing storage, dealing with an inherited collection or simply ready to move something on, We Sell Retro is interested in seeing substantial retro and pop-culture collections. You don’t need to identify and value every item before speaking to us.

Large and mixed collections welcome

  • Retro games
  • Consoles and handhelds
  • Vintage computers
  • Toys and action figures
  • Vehicles and playsets
  • Collectibles
  • Film and TV memorabilia
  • Music
  • Retro electronics
  • Magazines and media
  • Other related items

Inherited a collection?

You don’t need to become an expert on somebody else’s hobby before contacting us. Take several clear photographs showing the collection as a whole, with closer images of boxed, unusual or apparently significant items.

Before you clear anything out

Keep related items together. Boxes, instructions, cables, controllers, accessories, figure weapons, stands, paperwork and apparently random spare pieces may belong to items elsewhere in the collection.

How to photograph a large collection

  • Take wide photographs showing the scale.
  • Take category photographs – games together, figures together, consoles together.
  • Photograph boxes and packaging.
  • Add close-ups of unusual or apparently valuable items.
  • Show obvious damage rather than hiding it.

Why sell a collection together?

Selling every item individually may achieve a higher overall return, but it also means researching, photographing, listing, answering questions, packing and posting each item yourself. Selling a collection together offers a simpler way to move everything on at once.
